MERCANTILE SQUASH 2026
Mercantile squash starts on Friday 8th May. Captains, register your teams now! Please ensure you fill out all the details, including any reserves you may have and their playing positions.
Entries close Friday 24th April. There's is a maximum capacity of 9 teams, so get in quick!

Our two squash courts cater for both competitive and social squash, all year round.
Our club hosts various tournaments each year, with the most popular being Mercantile Squash. This is played on Friday nights and has become a top social event for players and supporters alike. Teams are made up of six players, seeded from 1 to 6. Players go up against another same seed player from a different team each week. The competition runs for 12 weeks through winter and is hotly contested.
Our courts also act as a neutral venue for Gisborne and Hawkes Bay teams, wanting to meet halfway for inter-club champs.
We run club championships each year for our more competitive members, many of whom also represent Wairoa regionally and nationally. For a more relaxed and social experience, join us on Tuesday nights from 6pm for our club night where we have fun games and a ladder competition.
