It's semi Finals week this week in the Mercantile Squash at the Athletic courts. It started Tuesday with the middle of the table teams, the Pensioners taking on Slort Sports. The Pensioners won this battle 4 games to 2. Friday night sees the top 4 playoffs with Pickering's taking on Waikarei and Smithy's Motorcycles up against AFFCO Stingers. Expect close games in these two challenges. The winners take on each other next week for the 2024 Mercantile title. The battles for the wooden spoon are just as interesting. Farmlands takes on Farmlands Too and The Wishing Stars take on Smash Warriors. The loser of each match will battle it out next week for the Wooden Spoon.  |
